Terminal Leave got approved the other day. So it's official I'll finally be home for full football season. Haven't been home for one since 2006 when I joined the Marine Corps. Really sucked for those 3 years in Okinawa, waking up ay 3 am on a Sunday and shite to watch a game. Was definitely worth it for 2010 though.

I dealt with that myself in Okinawa from 2006-2008. I was at Camp Schwab myself, then deployed in 2009, home just in time for 2010. Then deployed in 2011 for that giant shitshow of a season.

Yea I was at Foster but worked up at Schwab and Hanson as a Block NCO on the range for the majority of 2010. I actually paid my Sgt $60 so I could stay home to watch the title game. Was definitely worth it.
