Reading Rainbow
The Magic School Bus
Arthur
Bill Nye The Science Guy
I learned very early on how to record them on the VCR and recently burned them all to discs. I've been around for a while I can truly say that the 1990s were a golden age of educational children's television. Gave them to my kids for my grandchildren and they love it.
Non-educational
Andy Griffith Show
Sanford and Son
Green Acres
Alf
Dexter's Lab
Hey Arnold
The Magic School Bus

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Doctor Who
Captain Planet
Gargoyles
Be nice if I could find Bill Nye and Magic School Bus for them. Loved those shows growing up.
I'll probably show them Cosmos, though. It's something I would have LOVED as a kid.

My kids loved Reading Rainbow, Mr Wizard, and Mr Roger's Neighborhood. Daughter liked Sesame Street, but son never did.
As for sitcoms, my daughter is obsessed with Leave It To Beaver and Gilligan's Island right now, which is cool because I like them both. Son like Brady Bunch.
