This definitely softens the blow of losing the LSU game. We keeps the exact same time slot and a closer opponent. Hopefully these becomes a permanent fixture as well.

Its better than playing on Thanksgiving Day like A&M and LSU are. That would be shitty.
I'll actually probably get to attend the LSU/Arkansas game more often now that its on campus and not on Black Friday, so I don't really care too much.
The whole SEC tradition (at least as I knew it) and the whole college football tradition landscape is pretty much shot to hell these days anyway, so its not like it matters all that much.

I agree with this. I've actually only been to a single LSU game in my life due to it always being the day after Thanksgiving in Little Rock. Now I'll be able to make the LSU and Missouri games since they'll both be in Fayetteville going forward.

Playing just about anybody on Friday beats the crap out of playing LSU on Thursday.

I'm not going to lie, I'll miss LSU the day after Thanksgiving. I have a lot of fond memories watching that game with family who are no longer with us.
Times change, and I'm glad we're keeping up the Friday game

As far as my routine goes it will stay the same with time being taken off for that Thanksgiving weekend as is normally the case. I'll be in a deer stand those Fridays listening to the game.
