Okay so here's the scenario, you somehow go back in time to let's say 1300 A.D.
How much power could you accumulate?
Would you be burned at the stake as you have a funny accent?
Would your modern ideas and thought process be too much for the simple minds of back then?
If you could bring back one item that could give you even better chances of dominating the world what would it be?
Let's try to get all this stupid details out-of-the-way, focus on fun. Don't tell me how it wouldn't work just answer the fricking question you savages

If I had to try and take power, I would bring a plastic surgeon with the necessary tools to make me look exactly like whatever the depiction of God/whatever they worshiped commonly looked like at that time.

Where in particular am I going? Anywhere but Europe and I probably last all of a week...and even in Europe I'd probably be screwed. Too tall, I wouldn't smell bad like everyone else and even if I landed in England the language would still be real different.

How about going back to 1840? I could use my knowledge to acquire the property and rights to most of the land that created the California Gold rush. Then I'd buy most of what is now San Diego and travel back to the future. I would have a pristine ranch in one of the best climates in the U.S.. And be a trillionaire.

Idk, I think it'd suck. I don't really know how I would "rise to power" using whatever knowledge I have now. All the cool inventions we have now wouldnt' matter because even if I went to the smartest dude around he probably couldnt' build any of it. It's not like I'd be bringing in a million bucks with me so I'd still have to find a job and work like everyone else.
