That sucks, hate to hear it. Lsu was poised to have a good team next year, preseason I was picking them 4th in the league.

Morgan and Hammink were almost kinda assumed. But hickey not coming back does hurt a little. Hickey was great at times but pretty terrible other times. If we can get more consistency out of gray (which i think is possible) it could be an upgrade.
However, it certainly hurts the depth.

Yup. I am surprised so many are "shocked" these two are leaving. Hammink didn't really contribute, and Morgan wanted to transfer last season. With Hornsby becoming eligible and gray coming in, he wasn't going to play.

It does, but Johnny was pretty vocal on how much he didn't really like Hickey. It was clear as day Jones wanted Quarterman to be ready from day one and bench Hickey.

plus morgan got hurt at the end of the season. he was probably asked to leave, but if he hadnt he wouldnt have gotten any real playing time.

The Hickey part does sting but im convinced yall must be thinking malik morgan and shane hammink are different people than they actually are. You almost have to.

He didnt want to..he did it. Hickey came off the bench to start the season. Unfortunately for JJ Quarterman kinda sucked. He didnt really have a choice but to insert Hickey back into the starting lineup.

not really, 2 scrubs and a up and down player. I liked hickey but he was too small and despite being extremely quick he refused to dribble penetrate. We also have plenty of depth coming in at the guard spots so we will be fine.

hickey is extremely inconsistent, so it really isn't even reassuring he would be our go-to point guard. I think I'd rather have growing pains where we'll get just about everyone back and a top-10 2015 class.
With that said, it's not like I wanted Hickey to leave. He would have been a contributor, albeit I don't know what happened to his skills defensively. Didn't he go from top 3 in the nation in steals to basically none last season?

This.
Our talent will be better next year. We could've use Hickey for PG depth, but we'll be ok.
New additions next year and Mickey/Martin with another year of experience will be fun to watch. I think 3rd in SEC is attainable, most likely 4th/5th.
