PR#1 Florida dominate this week like usua...wait, what? Florida went 1-3 this week? After a midweek loss to Mercer and getting massacred by PR#3 Vandy in the rubber match, is it time for a new #1? PR#2 Ole Miss took their series with PR#12 Georgia and PR#4 South Carolina swept PR#14 Mizzou. Looks like there are some contenders for the #1 spot. What does tRant think?

If you want to contribute to this week's Baseball Power Rankings, submit your 1-14 ranking of the SEC teams here or email it to me (email is in my profile). We will randomly pick 2 rankings out of all the reasonable ones submitted. Voting closes at the end of Monday, and the winners will be announced in the Baseball Power Rankings thread on Tuesday.

Here are some suggestions that we give to the regular voters:
quote:

We aren't going to tie your hands with a "formula" but we encourage you to use some of the following: the past week's results, team momentum/trend, conference record, rankings (RPI, SOS, CBN, Coaches, NPI, etc), team stats, OOC record, overall record, eye-test. We trust that you're able to form your own combo of these elements without our guidance, but we would like you to emphasize what a team has most recently accomplished.

I want to put aTm higher cause they are definitely peaking right now but I just don't think they're better than the 7 teams I ranked ahead of them... Even though they've beaten some of them and could easily beat us in College Station this week.

Their RPI is at 36 right now... Pretty impressive if you ask me... Stop acting like taking 2/3 at home and holding serve is a difficult thing to pull off.

In the last month they've won @ Vandy, @ MSU , @Rice and they beat LSU... Like I said... Peaking.

Hell, if anything they ran into an Arkansas team that was playing for their postseason lives.

OM is just trying to build up A&M so that if they lose it doesn't look bad or if they win it shoots them up into a national seed.

That's correct... The committee pays very close attention to The Nino's Weekly SEC Baseball Power Rankings Thread... They are the only ones that can actually decipher that fricking line graph.

You try doing it without your leading ERA weekend pitcher

If the #24 team in cbb is bottom 4 in the conference then you know it's strong
