247Sports (Bodda Getta) and Rivals (Bunker) are becoming unbearable...

Not the actual information passed along by the likes of Bryan Matthews, Justin Hoke, Jay Tate, Allie Davidson, Keith Niebuhr, and so forth, but the constant bickering about the writers...
Personally, I don't have a problem with any of the writers. None have ever rubbed me the wrong way with anything. As long as the information stays good and they put a quality product out, I'm happy.
However, both 247Sports and Rivals subscription payers won't shut the frick up about their changes going on. Constant bickering on both sides about a potential swap of writers, what happened in the past with writers, blah, blah, blah... Why can't they just wait and see what's going to happen? If they don't like the changes, switch paysites and let it go. Simple solution, IMO.

The people on those sites have their collective heads stuck so far up their own asses inside this bubble they live in, they will simultaneously bitch and homer about all things Auburn football. They have no checks on their outrageousness and don't know what they are talking about.
At least here on the SECr, we have other fanbases to educate us on not being idiots

People call me a homer on this site for some of the things I say, but I am nowhere near the homer of some of those posters... In fact, I typically disagree with my Auburn buddies on everything IRL, and that's mainly due to the pure homerism and "ITATish" mentality some of them possess. That rubs me the wrong way.

Yea those sites,reading some of those comments makes me cringe with the amount of crazy homerism there is. ITAT is the worst though. I only use those sites to read stories and maybe a few recruiting details that's free. I don't really give a shite who's writing what on those sites.

My advice is to drop them... you're basically paying for info you can wait and get a few hours or a day later.
Also, we're gonna sign who we're gonna sign and it's gonna be public knowledge....whether you have a subscription or not. I used to have one... but no longer.
And you're right... the people are mostly unbearable (with a few exceptions).

IMO, we all do a damned good job of keeping the masses informed with our Auburn Recruiting Thread. I feel that we are doing people a service, you know, so they don't have to join the likes of AUFamily, ITAT, Bunker, and Bodda Getta... Our thread is updated ASAP, regarding all information. The latest news is always posted and discussed.

I post on auburn undercover. Posters on there for thr most part complain all the time. I first joined back when it was a stand alone prior to 247.
A lot of the original posters have stopped posting altogether. Last few days has been complaints about who or who isnt getting hired.

The fans that post regularly on the bunker and 247 seem to either be huge pessimists or people who have no grip on reality/ casual football fans.
I am convincedthat 95% of the people with Bunker subscriptions are people who if not affiliated with AU or big footballschool wouldn't pay attention to CFB. It just makes them out of touch with the realities of CFB and they don't know anything about other teams.
That is why you get these "Hire Coach K" posters

These sites all eventually digress to the lowest common denominator.... it will happen here as well, I'm sure. Hopefully we can hang on for a while longer, but new shitty AU fans seem to show up daily.
The reason The Bunker and ITAT seem the shittiest is bc they've been around the longest... All AU boards will get to their level... No doubt.

A lot of people here police the AU fans pretty well and having the rant knock homers and idiots down a notch teaches people to have well thought out posts.
I think the lack of new AU posters venturing to the rant and downgrade of the rant is bad for the AU board

That is a popular opinion to have but in truth, PM is one of the biggest reasons I joined 247 a few years ago. I really enjoy his historical looking back stories that I had never heard before. When he left, so did I.
