With UF's beating down of Bama last night they have a 4 game lead over SC and Vandy in the East. UF will need to at least win the series to maintain some breathing room.

The West is wide open at this point with the difference between first and last only being 5 games.

How do you see the East and West finishing out at this point.

East
UF
Vandy
SC
the rest
Mizz (currently a whopping 10 games back)

West this is a tough one
LSU
OM
MSU
the rest

Ole miss has the easier road, and LSU/Alabama will play each other next week

I still think you guys end up at the top of the West.

Crap: just checked the OM schedule, they finish with three cupcakes. Finish off the best pitching staff in the world this weekend, UG and then the aTmers. Maybe you are right.

All LSU has to do is get through Bama. Finish off aTm in this series and sweep the last place team in the West. That's not too bad.

Gators need to keep winning or the Rebels will catch them for the overall. Ole Miss is better than Florida, just didn't get to play.

I think Ole Miss takes the West. Vandy and USCe make it close but UF takes East. LSU will be right there behind, Bama will be 1-2 games back.

It's not so much who we have on the schedule, it's the fact that we've been playing pretty poor baseball the last few weeks. Last night was a prefect example. Made three errors, walked nine batters, ran ourselves out of a potentially big inning, etc. We wouldn't beat Mizzou doing that, so who we were playing was irrelevant. We're plenty capable of winning a series against anybody though if we get back to playing better baseball. We went 5-1 against Kentucky and Ole Miss when we were playing much more solid baseball at the beginning of the year.

We are only one game behind them as of today, and they still have to go to LSU. If they drop another game this weekend, it will likely depend on who wins the h2h series the last weekend

I think it'll come down to that last series as well. And a top 4 overall and a first round bye in Hoover could be on the line too. I'd like our chances at home, but this also the time of the year where I usually expect State to put it all together and go on a run.

UF takes the east. West is Om or LSU. Should be a good finish

I agree. Florida wins the East comfortably and takes the overall as well. With the remaining schedule, Ole Miss should win the West with LSU and Alabama behind them.

Poor south Carolina. I think I saw two of their guys playing in full body casts and they got some guy outta the stands to close for em. How the Hell does a baseball team get that broke up. Damn

IF we can sweep Arky and win our other 2 series, Bama wins the next 2 this weekend, and aTm wins 1 this weekend, then Ole Miss has a shot at the overall.

Plus we have AU, Tennessee, and then Alabama. IF we sweep this weekend (we fricking better) then we'll be in good shape as long as we win the series against UT.
