I don't even know what to say. Just when levels of separation were starting to form, shite got turned upside down. We do have 2 solid flatlines (thank you UF & Mizzou) and there's some semblance of a Top5...after that, it's a cluster. So what does tRant think?

This week's SECRant Guest Voters were reggierayreb (lucky #6) & RockyMtnTigerWDE (lucky #8)

Week 7 Power Ranking (Text Version)
1. Florida
2. South Carolina
3. LSU
4. Ole Miss
5. Alabama
6. Vanderbilt
7. Mississippi State
8. Kentucky
9. Texas A&M
10. Arkansas
11. Auburn
12. Tennessee
13. Georgia
14. Missouri

This graph sho iz angry

To be fair it was really close before and it's hard to differentiate among the top teams after Florida at this point. Ole Miss did just sweep Kentucky at their place while LSU dropped a home game with Tennessee. Obviously LSU won a series in Oxford, but you could transitive property yourself to death if you tried to use that as a major factor.

LSU and Ole miss are about even. LSU has the head to head but Ole Miss leads them in just about every other measurable. I wouldnt have a problem either way.

Do not think either gets a Natty Seed.

they also dropped a nonsec game to state in the midweek. both went 3-1. LSU just LAST weekend took the series on the road in oxford. dropping them behind after winning a series doesnt make a ton of sense. at all.

This looks eerily similar to the basketball one.

1-6 are close. All fighting to host.

7-10 are next tier and close as well.

11-12 still have a shot of many the the tourney.

13 UGA is bad

14 Mizzou is worse.

Uuuuummmm ....
Is it just me or does the text version not match the chart. Is LSU #3 or #4?

Edit: Okay fixed it LSU is #3

This is one wacky season. Arkansas was 2 errors away from winning a series but 1 Jake Wise hit away from being swept. Frightening.

I think that Vandy and UGA are doing pretty well at nailing down 6th & 13th. Not quite flat lines, but dang close!

No offense, but Ole Miss has no business being ahead of LSU right now.

Agreed 100%. They've won their past four SEC series- one being against Ole Miss
