Me and some friends were at a party one night. One of my friends saw Dent and told he had played a good set earlier and Dent's smug arse responded "I know".

Turned out it was his house we were at so my wife-then-girlfriend poured a beer in his mailbox and we left.
I don't even know why he told him he played a good set. Ukelele playing tool.

I've never liked the lineup as long as I've been here. I guess I'm not edgy enough.

I had plans to go and take a few friends who aren't from these parts but of course work got in the way. As to the music, most years when I see the lineup I think it looks crappy until I go to youtube. The same goes for this year. Hate that I'm missing it, first time in about a decade.
ETA: I never got the Dent May circle jerk that goes on around Oxford. A couple of my friends hang out with him and he's a "to cool" dbag. Also his music blows.

We can get along.
For the music - I've been excited only a handful of times. Lucero played in 2006 or 2007 and I loved that. Colour Revolt played one year. In 2011 Justin Townes Earle and Old Crow Medicine Show were BOTH there. That was probably the best year. I skipped studying for my Torts final for that.

I like the lineup, it's pretty much the same every year. There's always a decent headlining act and a ton of local type bands. Just because you haven't heard of a band doesn't automatically mean they'll suck. Hell most of us know who Dent May is and can agree his music is about as awesome as he is.
