Russell is working out with Patriots, Packers, and Chiefs today. Still think this kid is highly underrated, even after injury. Junior year he showed signs of everything you look for in a traditional pocket passer. Good evaluation here, seems like they think pretty highly of the potential.

Anyone have an update on Nickoe today?

Thats why they gave them the later pro day I think. I was assuming that he was back healthy for this one.

Yeah, he had been needing it all season. Decided to skip the bowl game so that he could have surgery immediately following the egg bowl. He is 100% by now I think.

5 months is pretty quick to be 100% off an ACL repair...

Has anyone taken the time to even rate him ?
I hope he gets a shot somewhere... Always like to see MS guys achieve their dream of making an NFL roster.

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see him get a shot somewhere. He's surgical throwing the ball -- and that part would look great in a combine/pro day setting.
His problem is anticipation and "the speed of the game" so to speak -- which is something I think he has to be invited to camp somewhere to be adequately diagnosed.
It's amazing how much more quickly Dak gets the ball out. Not as precise with his passes by any means -- but he anticipates so much better -- and in turn, the OL builds confidence and plays better with him back there.

Quarterback Tyler Russell put on a passing clinic for the Patriots, Packers and Chiefs yesterday during his workout at Mississippi State. His deep passes were on the money and Russell was also accurate with short and intermediate throws. One beneficiary of yesterday’s workout was running back LaDarius Perkins, who really impressed scouts with his pass catching skills.
