Bama - West Virginia 2:30 ABC game

The Crimson Tide's showdown with the Mountaineers in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. (central), West Virginia announced Saturday. The game will air on ABC.

Look at it this way, will get an early win and can sit back and enjoy someone getting upset in their opener.

Georgia-Clemson, LSU-Wisconsin, and Florida St-Oklahoma St are all better games for primetime. Last year against VT I think the game was at like 4:30, so not exactly primetime either.

Its better than starting off with UT Chattnooga or some cupcake, but I've gotten to the point where if we are playing a neutral site game and it won't even make the Top 3 for potential Gameday sites for that day, then we might as well find a game to play on campus.

Definitely need to up the prestige of the opponent next time.

Either up the prestige or change the location. Playing in ATL to start the year has kind of run it's course IMO.

Honestly, I want another shot at Oklahoma. The timing for our last three games with them could not have been worse for us. We owe them a beatdown.
