Taking an extended leave from the Rant

for good reason. Wife is due with our first child (a boy) in a couple weeks so focused on fatherhood right now. also working on last minute projects at home and work. I'll still keep up with you guys here and there (probably during late night feedings while I'm trying to stay awake, lol) but the posting will be non-existent. you guys keep sailing your asses off and I'll see you in the fall when we start our run to the national championship

An early congrats Lat.
Word of advice from a dad that's been in the delivery room: DO NOT look down. You'll forever realize at that point, no matter what noises come out of a woman's mouth during intercourse, you in fact ARE NOT hurting it.
After the baby is out.....STAY AWAY from the bottom side of the bed where the doctor is sewing her up. No, she isn't bleeding to death, so don't make the assumption or ask that question towards the doctor. Everyone will laugh at you.

Life, as you knew it, is about to change. Drastically.
But, although it's a different life, it's a great life.
Don't blink, he'll be grown up and gone before you know it.

they do grow up too fast. Mine is currently in the singing phase, and the song of the moment is "Let it Go" from the movie Frozen.
