The SEC Network has reached a multi-year deal with Maria Taylor to serve as studio host.
Taylor will also be a sideline reporter for SEC football games and an analyst for volleyball and women’s basketball contests.
Taylor, who was previously the reporter on ESPN2’s Saturday night primetime telecast, is the first studio host named to the network. She will also report every Saturday in tandem with the network’s lead college football broadcast team of Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer.

I remember her doing a couple of games last year and looks aside she's actually a good sideline reporter so I think it's solid hire despite her Athens affiliation
