Had to be reigned in by the donors to keep Sumlin.

Wanted 95k for Kyle, was overruled

Refused to fire Kennedy, fired Cyprien instead.

Gave Childress an extension for God knows why

frick him.

Even given all that, he's an upgrade over his predecessor...

...it still boggles my mind that he was proud of agreeing to stay in the Bevo 12 and take less money than UT did.

You're the equivalent of the SC fans Hyman recently talked about that wanted to fire Spurrier.

Are things going good? Hell yes. The end.

Things are not going well for basketball or baseball, unless a .352 win percentage in conference is "going good"

nah, we're happy with Ray

just imagine if Hyman had as big a grudge against Johnny as he did Garcia. you'd really hate him, then

At this point, I'd want Byrne back with the following stipulations.

No Wednesday Weekly

No authority to negotiate contracts

Things are going good inspite of Hymen. He has done nothing to add to it and likely is squarely to blame for the 2-3 things that are bad because he's making poor coaching decisions

Maybe, but I don't think so. If you ask me who the AD was when I was in school, I honestly have no idea. And the big 3 sports all did pretty well, in spite of the anonymous AD. All that I know of for sure that Hyman is directly involved in is the stadium expansion (a home run), player discipline, which for some unfathomable reason seems to drive fans crazy, and coach hiring/firing.

Kennedy has been in place coming up on 3 years, and we want to fire him? Does that make sense? Childress has seven consecutive NCAA tournament appearances... obviously he needs to go!

A nugget from scrooster on Hyman

Hyman is such a douche bag. I was so damn happy to see him go. The asshat was taking credit for the grass growing and the sky being blue by the time he left.
