It's Masters week: how about an update on John Daly

he's not in the tournament but peddling his wears outside a Hooters in Augusta as he's done for years. He doesn't drink anymore but still burns through 40 cigarettes and 12 cans of Diet Coke a day.

I loved watching Daly, but damn it's just sad to see him now. Such wasted talent.

he's definitely a cautionary tale, born with a world of talent but couldn't control his demons. always rooted for him because of it but yeah it is sad how far he fell

The reason I liked him is he reminded me of the guys in my golf group...smoking, drinking and seemingly having fun. I always loved when they would get a shot of him smoking a cig looking over a shot.

Last time he said he didn't drink anymore, he meant he no longer drank hard liquor, just light beer by the 30 packs.

Daly is a useless arse-clown. The 90 he put in Tampa should make every sponsor tell him no way anytime he asks for a sponsor exemption.

i saw him at the lion's den a few years back now- pretty sure he was sipping that night. he looked a little rough but that's not really anything new.
