Allegations that Saban traded player for taking time off for child's birth

LINK Also reported on ESPN.
Brandon Ayanbadejo, who played under Saban at Miami, is quoted as saying that he notified Saban that he and his wife were expecting their first born child. According to Ayanbadejo, Saban made it clear that he was not to miss any practices for the birth. After Ayanbadejo did take time off, Saban traded him to the Bears.
Obviously not directly SEC related, but interesting allegations. This is stemming from the fallout of Boomer Esiason's statement about the baseball player taking time to be with his wife during her pregnancy.
I'm sure more will be made of these remarks if true.

Yeah...I'm sure this is exactly what happened

It wasn't for missing time, it was for not properly sacrificing the child to the Dark Lord.

Or it could be that he sucked and was processed pro style.

Clearly Saban made the decision to trade him immediately after the baby was born.

That's the players allegations. Obviously there is another side to the story that we haven't heard yet.

So he got to spend time with his kid, and was traded to a better team? Good move by that guy

Get over yourself dick head. I didn't give any opinion on the guy or the issue. Simply passed along information that was just reported on ESPN.

judging from Saban's treatment of players in the past I'm leaning towards it being true.

You got it all wrong. Saban stepped over the newborn child as it convulsed while still connected to the umbilical cord.. Duh
