State ahead of us in the 90s. They won the division and won 10 games in consecutive years.

Overall records
Ole Miss - 66-49
Mississippi State - 63-51-2

Egg Bowl wins
Ole Miss - 4
Mississippi State - 6

Times ranked in the final AP poll
Ole Miss - 4
Mississippi State - 3

New Year's Day bowl games
Ole Miss - 1
Mississippi State - 1

I'd say it's pretty damn even.

So the two reasons I listed put them ahead. They win on the Atlanta trip alone.

Fulmer's cup should be part of the ranking as well. Why only reward the ones that did things the right way?

A) They did not have consecutive ten-win seasons. You do realize that they've only had two ten-win seasons in their entire history, right?

B) Our four final rankings to their three proves we were more relevant on the national stage and, thus, the better program in the 1990s.

Stop fudging this up

I damn sure thought Bama won SEC titles in the 2000s and 2010s, but I guess I dreamed those. Overall decent list, but there is no way UT is #2 in the 1990s. I am reminded over and over again that they have historically sucked and are not worthy of being Bama's permanent opponent.

I'd ask about the 1890s but I'm not sure how many SEC programs even existed.

What are Florida and LSU's overall records for the 2000s? I keep going back and forth on them.
