We for sure will only lose Releford...yeah this team started and ended with him but I'm hoping Hale or either Levi inconsistent arse picks up the slack.

The team next season is absolutely loaded with experience. With only 3 incoming freshman not having any real minutes of college basketball.
The lineup should look something like this

Jimmie Taylor-F
Shannon Hale-F
Rodney Cooper-G
Levi Randolph-G
Retin Obasahon-G

Next up
Justin Coleman-G
Ricky Tarrant-G
Nick Jacobs-F
Riley Norris-F
Michael Kessens-F
Algie Key-G
Devin Mitchell-G

Not a bad group of players right there...coaching questionable.

NCAA tournament is a stretch, but we should be able to make the NIT.

As long as grant is here I won't be getting my hopes up for anything.

The players could take us a ways, but with Grant as the coach, I see NIT as the ceiling, and we wouldn't really make a run in the NIT either.

We will schedule enough cupcakes to win enough games to be eligible for the NIT. And write that roster down in pencil. Lacey transferred last year. Our big center transferred. One guy got involved in kidnapping. This year we had a quit or whatever in the middle of the season. Tony Mitchell got kicked off two years ago. I think it is way premature to just say this is our team for next year and we should be better. I wouldn't be surprised if 1-3 of those guys don't play basketball for us next year.

Well I definitely don't think we need the schedule we had this year....and a few cupcakes in noncon ,like Arkansas, could help them gain some confidence.

Would love for us to play more SOUTHERN teams. A noncon schedule such as

UAB
Memphis
Houston
Clemson
ULL/Tech/Southeastern
and a HBCU

wonder what tip off tournament will we get invited to if any

We will definitely be playing:

At Wichita
At Xavier
Home against UCLA
In a tournament against 2 of these 3: Iowa State, Maryland, and Arizona State
A Big 12 team

Tarrant will start at PG and we will make the big dance.

All will hail Anthony Grant next season.

ETA: My starting lineup would be Tarrant, Levi, Hale, Kessens, and Taylor.

Yep.
1. Tarrant-Coleman- Key
2. Levi- Retin- Mitchell
3. Hale- Norris- Cooper
4. Kessens- Jacobs
5. Taylor- Jacobs

Coleman will be the first guard off the bench and Norris the first swing guy off the bench, unless Cooper has some dirt in Grant. Once again we'll have no depth in the post, so we will not make a run in March. Hale will be forced to play down low and he's not a back to he basket player or post defender. Our guard play/depth could potentially be upper echelon in the league.

All 3 freshmen will see a lot of minutes, because they'll be the best 3 shooters on the team from day 1

I think so. We're supposed to have a decent to good class coming in. Only lost 2 seniors.

Yeah I only put cooper there because hes been there for the past 3 seasons...if there was a time for someone to take his place it would be now.

Imagine if Grant could keep a roster together.

We should make the NIT at the very least if Tarrant and Coleman prove to be capable point guards. Hopefully Levi or Hale being primary scorers will force them to step up and be more consistently aggressive too. Solid group of players though. Defense will need to be better like it was under Grant before this past year.
