I've lived in Auburn since 2009; today was the first time I've been to Country's BBQ. That was top 5 worst food I've ever had in my life. Their "baked bean" tasted like ketchup and onions mixed together. And it was $40 for 3 people. How is that place still in business? Mike and Ed's/ Chucks FTW.

There's one in Montgomery... used to eat there all the time back in the day. Their Brunswick stew was good.

I dont think there is any good BBQ in Auburn. They're either mediorce or just terrible. Bham is where its at with BBQ in Alabama for me with Saws/Dreamland/Jim Nicks/Full Moon.

Jim Nicks is in Auburn now. Not as good as Mike and Ed's or Bryon's IMO.

Country's, at one time, was pretty good. Don't know what happened to them because they now really blow.

They do have good Brunswick Stew. Everything else is Meh.

I still can't believe people thing Jim and Nick's is good BBQ. Maybe I just went to a bad one? I haven't tried the one in Auburn. Auburn's BBQ scene is pretty sad.
