*3.1.4 Termination of Membership. Membership may be terminated voluntarily by the resignation of a member or involuntarily at a meeting of the Chief Executive Officers. A vote of at least two-thirds of the members is required to terminate membership. Any motion to terminate membership shall specify the effective date of the proposed termination. [Clarified/Conformed 6/1/11]
Personally if I were Mike Alden I would vote to terminate the membership of South Carolina. They bring very little to the conference small T.V. market, limited success in the conference, and overall just a mediocre athletic program. None of the other members in the conference claim the divisional titles when they remain second in the overall standings. Also their bowl history is among the worst in the conference.

I think this is where I'm supposed to say Mizzou.

That would depend, Do we bring value to the conference? Do we claim fake championships? Have we played in an SEC title game?

Alabama... send us to the BIG.
Searously it would be the Yankees that no one wanted to begin with.

South Carolina is just a very mediocre to below average program, and their track record shows it

Not yet but we have a conference title in volley ball (undefeated ) We have an SEC East title, and an appearance in the title game that's more than I can say for some members. We are in the process of delivering an NIT title.

Didn't the Gamecocks beat Mizzou's arse last year in football?

No way. I'd miss the away games there too much.
