Former 2013 Spanish Fort WR Deon Johnson found NOT guilty of rape (in one case).

A jury found a former Spanish Fort High School football standout not guilty of first-degree rape in connection with a 2012 sexual assault that happened in a bathroom.
A girl accused Deon Johnson, a former wide receiver, of raping her in a bathroom at Spirit Park in Spanish Fort on Feb. 18, 2012. She was 15 years old at the time.
The University of Alabama had shown interest in Johnson when he was a receiver at Spanish Fort High. Johnson committed to playing football at the university, but the school's interest him went away after Johnson started having legal troubles.
Johnson, 20, is charged with second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy in another case. He has been granted youthful offender status in the case.
He is also is charged with first-degree rape in connection with the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in a church parking lot in Daphne in 2012.
Johnson is being treated as an adult in the 2012 case. The case still is pending.
Kid had it good. Offers from everywhere, a chance to play for Alabama, speed (I saw where his recruiting profile had him listed in the 4.3 range), athleticism, etc...and screwed it all up. It's a shame some of these kids can't keep their head on straight. Now, even though he was found not guilty of the aforementioned charge, he still has other cases pending and will likely still face some amount of prison time.

I actually don't have it. Stole the written passage from The Bunker, and got the pictures via Google. You could probably Google an important sentence from above and find it. I would, but I am currently on SECRant Mobile right now.

Okay, if you're being accused of that many different sex crimes, you either need to stop raping or, if you're not raping, stop having consensual sex until you can figure out how to do it without coming across as all rapey.

Still innocent before guilty.
Sure, he'll most likely get convicted of one of the other charges, but there's always the chance that this guy was disliked by a group of people in his community and after the first girl accused him of rape, the others joined in to make it worse for the guy.
If he didn't rape them and if he is acquitted, then it's one of the worst nightmares any American male can go through. His life would be absolutely ruined based on made up gossip.

Head straight is NOT the issue here, it's obvious he has serious mental condition and is a serial type thing...
This kid does not need to be on a college campus with these types of issues.
