My first what I would call my favorite player was Mike Pitts DE Alabama. I remember I was 11 years old in 1984 the first time I ever got to pick my own number for football. Until then the coaches just gave you a number. I knew I was playing defensive end and naturally chose 81, but the coaches then told me I'd be playing center too so I had to change it. So who can you remember being your first favorite player from your favorite school growing up ?

DeShaun Foster played one of the best games ever vs. Bama in 2000....I stood up and clapped for him when it was over. Salute

Peter Warrick. BEAST.

Some know, but I was a pretty big Florida State fan growing up, although they were always second to Auburn. They are still in my top 3, which also includes Clemson (grandfather played there).

Every Bama fan should know who DeShaun Foster is. 42 carries for 187 yards, completely humiliated Alabama's defense. Freddie Mitchell was a beast that game too.
