I'm adding The Port Fairy Folk Festival in Port Fairy, Australia to mine. Looks Fun.
Hog Stomping Zydegators
madre monte
Red Molly
Rick E Vengeance Sing-a-long
I won't consider driving an hour and a half to Wakarusa but flying to L.A. then 16 hours to Melbourne, then a 4 hour drive to the festival site in a little whaling town at the southern tip of Australia seems like a damn fun adventure.

Two things:
1. Hunt feral hogs from a helicopter.
2. After I retire I'm going to buy a used Class C motorhome and hit every Texas A&M game in a season. It might be College Station, then Columbia, SC, then CS, then Tuscaloosa, CS, Oxford, etc. I actually enjoy driving and seeing new scenery, so I'd actually prefer this to flying. I could stop and check out all the historical stuff on the way to new venues.

I've done most of mine, but the number one is still out there.
LINK
Hiking in, rafting out of Aniakchak, a volcanic (active) caldera in the Aleutian Range. Weather is so bad only 25-100 people a year make it there and we've been weathered out twice.

Given its remote location and challenging weather conditions, Aniakchak is one of the most wild and least visited in places in the National Park System. This landscape is a vibrant reminder of Alaska's location in the volcanically active "Ring of Fire" as it is home to an impressive six mile (10 km) wide, 2,500 ft (762 m) deep caldera formed during a massive volcanic eruption 3,500 years ago.

Good luck with that. I can't stand the cold though.

I guess temps in the 60's are cold? That's what it is in summer.
The floor of the caldera is warm too.

looks like A LOT of fun to me.

How many days would this take roger?

Well, your OP made reference to challenging weather conditions and the fact that only 25-100 people make it there a year. I guess I just assumed that meant that it was cold. Personally, I don't consider 60 degrees "challenging" weather conditions.

Oh boy
I guess temperature is the only weather consideration?
Usually low cloud cover, rain and wind are more important conditions for flying than tempreature.

Have to fly to the Ak. Peninsula from Anchorage. I've made it to Anchorage, but couldn't get into King Salmon.
Allow 3 weeks. It can be done in a week if you fly into the volcano, but weather will be an issue at some point. 100 mph winds are common. Usually takes 3-5 days to float out the length of the river.

I plan on going to Anchorage for the last week of May.

Great time to be there. I was there last year the first week of June. Anchorage is a pretty cool place, they just finished Fur Rondy which is usually fun as hell.
