The hugely successful clothing brand "Missouri is Awesome" has expanded into a hugely successful franchise known as Five Pound Apparel.

Watch out, Fayettechill hipsters...your neighborhood hipsters in Springfield, MO are nipping on your heels.

I'm gonna check out this store, though, since I'm a raging hipster.

Like seeing this kind of thing in Missouri.

That depends. There are a million Springfields. Was the one in Missouri the original one, before it went all corporate and mainstream?

Springfield is the most promising city in Missouri, fwiw. The STL, KC, and CoMo people attempt to disregard the fastest growing region in Missouri as a "meth den", when in reality that is further from the truth. They're just intimidated by our growth and nice standard of living.

FWIW, the worst county for meth abuse in Missouri is Washington County just outside St. Louis.

We not win this battle Fayettevillians. Seems to me the missouri brand is way more ironic.

Killz, I've never heard someone from STL call Springfield a meth den or speak badly about it.

Did someone touch you inappropriately on one of your visits?

The perception of your city is very good. It had a peaceful feel and was very clean the few times I've been. It's a great American city. Not too small, not over sized, filled with about the most normal people anyone could find on earth.

Fayettechill is not the brand of hipsters. Its the opposite.

Fayetteville hipsters like to put these stickers on everything, because Fayettechill is too fratty for them.

Birmingham is starting to turn that way, and I love it. Highland Park, Forrest Park, Avondale, etc. It's a great revival for downtown Birmingham.

I find Fayetchill to be kinda douchey and overpriced.

And that sticker is pretty funny 'dudebros' is pretty accurate.

Literally neither of those cities sounds fun or appealing. Even ironically.
