I recall seeing Bucky live at Kyle Field in Arkansas' last game there in the SWC. I was a child, but I clearly remember a drunken Aggie screaming "Bucky you f-ckin suck!"

well that didn't backfire on you at all OP

I loved watching Bucky play, he was Johnny Football before Johnny came along. I actually grew up in the same area in Baton Rouge and watched him in little leagues. Would have played MLB had he chosen that path.

That's not how it works. Also all past present and future Louisiana Aggies are OOC

Bucky was a blood and guts guy who everyone respected because of his effort. However, JFF takes dumps that have more talent than Bucky ever had.

I remember the collective holding of breath at Kyle every time Bucky threw the ball. He was a LB playing QB and great at running the option. Had all the intangibles you love in a QB in terms of leadership and competitiveness.
When he went back to throw though it was ugly. He had a slow windup motion and was very hit or miss in terms of accuracy. In an option attack where a pass was almost a trick play that was fine.
Hard to compare him to JFF though. Maybe a poor man's Tebow.

I wonder who would be the all-time FC leader if we did a continuous tally for players who either graduated or went pro...
Rolando McClain and Alabama come to mind
Obviously OJ and USC

Before we were in the SEC did the swamp kittens care this much about the piggies? I feel really bad for Arkansas fans that no one ever considered them big enough rivals to start butthurt threads like this. I get it... Sumlin is starting to take whoever he wants in Louisiana. I know that should make y'all feel a bit insecure but this is getting ridiculous.

BPD and CSPD are discriminating against players from Louisiana.
