Obviously, it will be bad for Bama, but what about college football as a whole? How will it change the landscape, if at all?

ESPN will cum in its pants while scrambling to organize eleven television specials with dramatic violin music.

Nah. Kirby has it covered.

I'll cry.

Cry tears of joy. We've beaten that a-hole once and it was Eli's sophomore year when he was still at LSU.

Not sure. He has definitely been good for the SEC so far.

I wouldn't mind it as an lsu fan, but he does kind of set the standard for college football lately. Although, he got lucky as frick and backed into his last 2 NC.

I'm very curious to see what his team looks like with a new QB, coaching staff shake ups, and 2 losses in a row. Will be interesting.

Sounds like Saban's only undefeated season

Depends on his successor. Where's Shula or DuBose?

You beat me to it

I imagine it will be like when Les Miles leaves. People hate him cause they can't beat him with the spread like.....EVER. As well as his ridiculous sideline antics. People will just miss it after the relief phase is over. And then they are like frick.....how are we suppose to feel good about ourselves now that we can't get payback on Saban anymore?

Well, the last time most all of that happened was the 2010 season. Afterwards Bama won two in a row BCSNCs with 37-4 record. Prior to that the 2008 season ended similar and the following year Bama went 14-0 and won the BCSNC.

So, if the trend continues, then this time Bama will win 3 NCs in a row with a projected record of 43-2 .

Sounds like fun!

I don't think Saban has as big of an impact on cfb as people think imo

meh, lsu can't get much worse than living in a fool's paradise. At least with Dinar duo's perpetual suck fest they didn't have the "blue balls" effect they get now.

It does not matter to any team, player or conference in the land beside the SEC. No one outside the SEC gives a rats azz about Saban! It will not change anything!

Neither.
He's a coach.
At one school.
