Use what?

Here's my imagination running wild with the Bloody Benders story:

imagine it's 1871 and you've been traveling on a wagon trail for days. You're cold, hungry, and would like to sleep in a nice bed for the evening before continuing your journey westward.

the sun has set and darkness falls. You continue to push on hoping to come upon a small village, trade post, or inn. You round a corner and all of the sudden your luck changes. You see some lights up ahead and you realize that it's a settlement.

You knock on the cabin's door. A very attractive young woman answers by the name of Kate and invites you inside. This is a general store and country inn. She urges you to take your time, look at dry goods, and even offers you dinner and a place to sleep for the night.

You fiddle around for a bit. They have plenty of gunpowder and other essentials. You make occasional small talk with Kate and then realize that you are indeed hungry.

Just then, an older more rugged woman walks into the room from behind the curtain and walks behind the counter. Kate introduces her as Ma and you tell her hello, but she ignores you. She pulls out a four inch knife and begins to sharpen it on a wet stone.

You ask Kate if they've already eaten dinner and Kate tells you no. You ask her what they are having for dinner. Kate tells you stew. You ask if they wouldn't mind if you join them and Kate knods her head in approval. You smile affectionately at Kate. A beautiful young woman is a rare site the further west you travel, and you plan to enjoy this young woman's presence for as long as possible.

Ma suddenly addresses Kate in what sounds like German. You don't know what she's saying, but her voice is loud and guttural and grabs your attention. Kate smiles and says, "Yes, Ma. I'll ask."

Kate turns to you and says, "Mister, Ma would like to know if you'd like a seat at the head of the table since we're honored to have you as a guest this evening?

You think to yourself that this is a wonderful invitation and you oblige.

Kate grabs your hand and walks you to the chair at the head of the table, just in front of the curtain. She lays a handkerchief in your lap and pours you a glass of water. Ma disappears behind the curtain. You can hear the clanking of dishes and you hear her more quietly speaking to herself in German...or perhaps she's speaking to someone else behind the curtain. These women probably don't live out here in the middle of nowhere by themselves, so perhaps the old woman's husband is behind the curtain. Perhaps Kate's husband is back there.

"Are you married," you ask Kate.

"Nah, I aint married. There aren't a lot of suitors around these parts and quite frankly I aint got time for that. How about you?"

"No. I'm heading west to Dodge City to farm a plot of land with my brother and his wife. His wife is dying and he needs help. However, I plan to find myself a pretty but hardworking woman when I get there. Someone like yourself. Wanna come with me? I'd be the envy of every man in Dodge City with you by my side."

"Your a funny man, mister! Your offer is tempting, but my place is here with my family. The boys need me and Ma to help with the cookin while they tend to livestock."

You realize that she and her Ma aren't the only ones who live here, and during that thought, the old woman enters the room with a bowl of stew. She sets it down in front of you. You tell her thank you and she replies, "You're welcome," and steps to the side.

You dip your spoon into the stew when you realize that Ma just spoke perfect English. You look up at Ma, a bit perplexed, and you are about to address her when you notice that Kate has removed her dress and is standing fully nude before you.

You lose your train of thought for a moment at the site of Kate's breasts, and then you hear a swooshing sound behind you. Before you can process the thought, a large hammer strikes you in the side of the head knocking you to the floor. Your vision blurs, your ears are ringing, and your body is twitching uncontrollably.

You see a few individuals approaching your body and you reach for your gun. You pull it out of the holster and just as you are about to shoot at a shadowy figure, another hammer blow crushes your arm. The gun discharges but clearly misses human targets.

You are fading fast. The last thing you remember is Kate pulling your pants down. She straddles you and leans forward to thank you for being a gracious guest. At that moment, she begins to savagely saw at your throat with a serrated knife while bucking wildly on your dying body. You hear people screaming in celebration as you succumb to a painful death.
