Obviously, we all have an extremely small sample size, but after the first weekend who is your pick for the newcomer who will make the biggest impact for your team? Can be a true freshman, RS freshman, or even a JUCO transfer.

For the Rebs, I think at the end of the year every SEC baseball fan will know the name Errol Robinson.

He is our true freshman SS and based on what Ive heard, seen in scrimmages, and listened to on the radio this wkd - he's the real deal. Apparently made some tough plays look routine and had one unreal web gem.

He isnt a converted 3rd or 2nd baseman, he's a true shortstop that projects as such at the next level. He'll have some work to do with the bat but he will immediately be an upgrade in every other aspect. Ive heard from numerous ppl inside the program that he came in and worked harder than any freshman they've ever seen.
Dude's gonna be a baller.

Who's yours?

Logan Nottebrok. Already hit a walk off homer this past weekend and is looking like he will be in the 3 or 4 hole for us all year.

Jake Vickerson. JUCO transfer, little brother of Nick Vickerson is definitely our biggest/most important pickup

Pretty impressive that State fans have had 3 different answers so far.

BAMA has two catchers, Wade Wass and Will Haynie, who are expected to contribute a lot this year. Wass transferred in from JUCO last year but then got hurt and missed the entire year, he is expected to contribute to the middle of our lineup. If Haynie's bat gets hot then Wass will DH.

Andrew benintendi. He didn't even get a hit this weekend but got on base like 7 times from the leadoff spot

Damn...he must come from a rich family

Maybe. He had a number of $1.7 to skip college, he didn't get it, so he declined the Astros offer.

Now he won SEC Pitcher of the Week his first collegiate game! Cocks got something to Crowe about...besides the Nattys.
