Watched the Arizona-Arizona State game and ASU won by 3 points but should have won before there was double OT...had many chances...just a two man show late in the game making it easy for Arizona to defend.
You think we are bad at the charity stripe? Holy Sheets both teams I think were under 50% from the free throw line. We need to take care of the other wildcats tomorrow (actually today since its after midnight) and we will be # 2....and Syracuse was lucky to escape Pitt with a three point shot at the buzzer from the concession stands.
Not that impressed with Cuse or Arizona to be honest....we are a much better diverse team with a lot of weapons. Zona has tall timber...which made it tough for ASU's (5'11" ?) guard to penetrate and score...but he tried time and again...making some great shots...but also missing badly or getting balls blocked. Passing the ball was not part of the gameplan for both schools it seems.
Oh btw editing this to reflect that the morning paper boxscores showed both teams were a "healthy" 56-57% at the free throw line
My bad...but both teams were tossing bricks and under 50% until O/T and Zonas Johnson started making FTs. Still...UF never looked this bad at making them...so it just goes to show there are other power ranked teams with as bad or worse stats.

FT shooting in CBB is just bad this year. Do HS coaches even teach it anymore?

We should be #1 after this win.

Great win....but you can't take it from Syracuse just yet. My roommate graduated from there and it's amazing seeing them pull out bullshite win after bullshite win. If they drop one next Sat at Duke I wouldn't be surprised to see you #1.

Cuse is dead man walking...their schedule is going to have them playing at Duke, they also have heavyweights on the road coming up...they will lose at Duke on Saturday...another team pulling horseshoes out the wazoo.
Not impressed enough with the orange;s guard play from the few games I have watched.

syracuse is good but they've been barely scraping by.

And they take their first L. May help them to play better without the pressure of being undefeated.
