Apparently his dad stole the LOI and won't let him send it in to SC?
I've heard from LSU people that the dad wants him to go to LSU
I'm asking UF/Tenn fans if they're hearing anything because honestly this situation is just weird.

And this didn't cause you to pause and reconsider giving a crap?

Parents are really trying their best today to make things go in LSU's favor...2 for 2? Nah....but still fun nonetheless. Miles must impress the shite out of parents

Yet, Miles never seems to impress the shite out of the players.

First I've heard about this one...
We heard all along that both mom and pops favored UT but that Adoree liked USC and UF. Given he chose USC, I'd never rule out something shady, especially since he was living out there for school away from the watchful eye of his parents. USC had told analysts that UT was "lying in the weeds for Adoree" and the majority thought we'd make top 4. USC seemed to think we were a bigger threat than anyone else did. I also didn't expect to win this one but I did expect to be cut AT ALL.
Also, Adoree's dad wore an orange shirt today that looked surprisingly close to UT orange. That all said, I highly doubt Adoree ends up anywhere but USC. Sark and USC will likely smooth it all over.

Wasn't there a mom that grabbed her son's papers a few years back and hid from her son? There are some whacky parents out there including that crazy mom from NOLA.

Yeah, but that lady had a good reason. She was trying to keep her son from going to Ar-kansas.

Heard nothing. Know that the father liked UT before Adoree eliminated them. Know that UCLA was never really "in" it. Like I said earlier, this kid played it so close to the vest and had the other 3 staffs feeling good. My guess is everything gets ironed out and he stays out West. If not, I would love for UF to be the compromise school.

Yep. When the smoke cleared both Arky and the RB who signed (Collins) did an interview and said it wasn't his mom's fault. He said he never told her his plans and her and the whole family along with his friends just assumed he'd go to the U since it was right up the road. He never corrected them. So when it happened and she was blindsided, she thought something very shady/unethical had taken place. That's why she took off according to them. Makes sense in an odd way because a parent with objections can simply refuse to sign in most cases.
At any rate, he said he thought if she'd been able to see with her own eyes what Arky was like and meet the coaches she'd have been ok with it. She did eventually get to see things and approve and is now ok with her son's choice.

His dad's now poo-pooing any family friction. Something to the effect of wherever he decided to go is where he's going and has nothing to do with me. That's from a tweet going around and I'm too lazy to look up the source and as we all know the services haven't always been timely or accurate so it may even be old. So take that info FWIW.
