I really believe we're going to see a lot of the younger guys on the field, especially on defense. The new staff (or old staff) is extremely good at developing young talent. I'll leave the depth chart to all of you that know more than me about where the players are developmentally. Holy shite, I can't explain how excited I am right now.

Not a depth chart, but that D will have 5 stars all over the place.

DE - J Allen
NT - A Robinson
DE - D Hand / R Anderson

JLB - R Evans
WLB - R Ragland
MLB - R Foster
SLB - C Miller

CB - T Brown
CB - M Humphrey

SS - L Collins

All these cats were rated as 5 stars by at least 1 major service or system i.e. 247 Composite
.

Out of this class, I'd think Hand has a shot. Brown has a good chance being an early enrollee to start. Hootie also has a chance being an EE.
Cam Robinson could start at LT, and of course Coker/Cornwell could be our quarterback.

You left a few guys off, and Fanning isn't with the team anymore.

A couple people you probably accidentally left out:
Christion Jones, Trey Depriest.

If you left them out on purpose, never mind

Forgot about Fanning. We have a lot of players for defensive end though

Yeah, I can see Jones falling behind on the depth chart like Fulton did. He has athleticism, but unless Smart completely polishes him this spring, I think he's SOL. Too much competition at CB.

Depriest reminds me of Erik (spelling?) Anders a little bit. And Foster reminds me of Ro. And Evans reminds me of Ro. Jesus.

I want Evans to remind me of Derrick Thomas. That, imo, is the greatest need for this team, someone to get all over the QB.

Derrick Thomas

He's definitely large and athletic enough. It'll be interesting if Bama does shift to the 4-3. I'd expect Evans to be the first one in the backfield every single time.
