I think the rumor with the most backbone now is that the staff knows they are breaking the recruiting rules about the # of signees b/w Nov and now and they needed a scape goat. Also, there are going to be some pissed off HS coaches who find out in the next 48 hours that their player is going to be offered a last minute gray shirt.
