A couple more Super Bowl rings for former Bama players. James Carpenter and Jesse Williams got some serious bling going. That makes 4 total players in 2 yrs off Saban teams to win it all in college and pro.

Did either of them play? I did like Jesse Williams in college.

Saban totally misplayed Carpenter by not playing him at left guard.

I saw Carpenter in there once I know. Williams has been hurt all year.

Carpenter got Lynch into the endzone, according to twitter. I didn't watch the game.

I missed Carpenter in there. But, then, my attention to the game started to drift right around the kick-off return to extend the lead to holy frick.

Percy Harvin won it for them.

The guy has some serious speed. I knew when he fielded that kickoff on the bounce, Denver was fricked.

The Seahawks picked up Carpenter late in the first round of the 2011 draft. People questioned it at the time, but it paid off.

I was really surprised Percy wasn't MVP of the game.

He deserved it.

Carpenter started and played most of game, I think.

Nice three year run for Williams. Two NCAA Titles and one Super Bowl.

They should go back to A&M and teach your current DL how to tackle.

I saw Carpenter play quite a bit. Williams is the first native Australian to win the Super Bowl.
