They're power rankings, it's an eyeball test. Georgia goes 1-1 on the week, and the win came against the team ranked dead last. And Georgia moves up a spot?

With Kentucky's margin of victory that wafer thin, you must be impressed with the fighting Bulldog spirit. Thus, we move up in the rankings. Pretty simple really.

These rankings are a joke. In the week that we actually beat Kentucky but then lost to Georgia, we dropped several spots and Georgia jumped us. Now you guys lose to Kentucky but beat South Carolina (

UGA is ranked 7, exactly halfway in the league, even though we have the 4th best league record. It's not like we're ranked in the top 2 or 3.
Any time you have 28 people voting on something, where the odds are most haven't seen much more than their own team, it's not going to be perfect. There's nothing wrong with putting UGA at 7.

I'm ok with UGA at 7, I was just pointing out that someone has them ranked 3rd. I realize that someone also has Arkansas ranked 3rd. I don't agree with that either.

To my knowledge the only way to get that info would be to be a part of the voting committee.

Damn...looking at this list makes me realize that the SEC really is going to only get 2 teams in. I guess my 3 team optimism was unwarranted.

it's people who post here- do you expect unbiased and knowledgeable of all teams? i don't. and i don't really mean to offend with that but i take this poll with a grain (or 2000) of salt.
