Why do y'all think that the WRs- which are already pretty damn good- are going to suddenly explode stats-wise just because of Kiffin? Considering the last guy was fired because he apparently didn't run the ball enough, I am just interested in why the fanbase seems to think Bama will turn into a different offense.

We don't, and we won't.

UA will run the O Saban wants.

Nuss didn't get fired.

He took a better job.

If you've noticed, no one has replied to that thread yet. Thanks for reading our board though

The fanbase doesn't think this - and Bama won't turn into a different offense.

This.

Idk who assumes that we're going to become some elite air-raid offense.. We have a great stable of RBs and I expect us to lean on them this year.

We'll be pretty much the same as last year with more runs and passes to the TE.

this - OJ Howard is a beast that Nuss under utilized IMO.

The threat of a Tim Tebow (not playing ability but size wise) esque runner is gonna be a different dynamic that the SEC has never seen from Bama.

I think we'll be the same pretty much. Doubt Kiffin is gonna do a lot of earth shattering play calling.

Probably because Kiffin's offenses usually had a "go to WR" whereas under Nuss Bama spread the ball around to a lot of different WRs.

MArquis Lee had over 1,700 receiving yards in 2012.

In 2011 Both Lee and Woods both had over 1100 receiving yards and combined for 26 TDs.

Maybe they'll get to do more than just run crossing route after crossing route. It's obviously still going to be Saban's system so it's not like all the WRs will have huge numbers (which doesn't matter as long as the team is still winning), but still.

Go take a look at the Cam Cameron thread a few threads up. Just bc a few morons from Bama have an silly opinion about something, that doesn't mean that's what the fanbase thinks. And you can say that for any fanbase.

We hope for more balance and better play calling. But in the end, the offense will be based around what Saban has always ran.
