You could at least take a few minutes and read the last couple of pages before posting info that is days old. This close to signing day of course things will be posted as soon as they happen.

That is huge. I'm glad we can get him back on campus one more time, especially if he's having second thoughts.

Yall are panicking over the WR receiver situation, but the name no one is mentioning is Chigbu. Do yall not think he can be a contributor for this team?

Happy to have him, but Slayton and Godwin are better imo. Not trying to field a team of just "contributors." Guys like Chigbu are crucial, but you need playmakers like Godwin and Slayton.

I'm gonna have to disagree about Chigbu vs Slayton. I agree Godwin is a start from day one type of athlete, but Chigbu has that potential as well. If you watch Chigbu's film, he is heads and shoulders bigger, stronger, faster, better hands, better athlete... Not even close. They're all great players and I'm happy they're all dawgs.

IDK... if he is, it's not by much. He's not "way faster" Chigbu his physically ready right now. It's a good problem to have.

Maybe. If Chigbu's the better athlete, he's gonna be a hell of a player and LSU fans are gonna be pissed. I've seen more than a few people say that Slayton is the best athlete in Georgia this class

He's gonna be a good one and LSU fans are gonna hate every minute of it.

Again... not saying Slayton is a great athlete. He's one helluva athlete. Chigbu has tremendous long speed for guy who's 6-2 215+. His film reminds me alot of a faster Alshon Jefferies. He's going to be a excellent weapon in the redzone here in the near feature.

I also don't think that anybody is a "start from day one" guy. Very few college freshmen are starters in their first game. There's a lot more than athletic ability involved before anyone earns a starting spot. Lots of coaches throw that kind of stuff around during recruiting, but I'd imagine that CMR is telling Slayton, Chigbu and Godwin that they'll have an excellent chance to contribute from day one and they'll have a chance to earn a starting spot.

Also, it's pretty tough to judge a receiver's hands from a highlight video. They don't show the passes that get dropped. You really can't tell until they all get coached up on technique at the college level.

I've seen Slayton a few times live. Dude is the real deal. I haven't seen enough of Chigbu to be sure but I doubt he's better
