How good of an O-Line coach was he and what type of recruiter was he? Just curious, LSU is going to interview him.

2012 sucked, but could have been numerous things. All else seemed good.

Great recruiter.
Solid offensive line coach.
LSU will be fine.

There were structural problems in the program in 2012.
Delete that data from Grimes resume.

This.

Good lines in 09 & 10.
Mediocre/bad line in 11 (rewatch that game in Death Valley).
Awful line in 12.

He's solid. Whatever he lacks in coaching, he'll make up for in recruiting. He's had some great lines, and he's had some bad ones. Of course 2012 can't really be held against him IMO.

Grimes is a great coach and recruiter. He did a hell of a job with the line and got some big time recruits in the door.
