My view from the coach

numbers remaining after seniors and a few defections 69*
defection to the NFL -4
QB attrition -1
RB attrition -2
TE attrition -1
OL attrition -1
DL attrition -1
LB attrition -1

remaining 58

85-59=27 to sign

the defection that is obvious is Fanning. The attrition are projections between now and start of fall camp

Just edited as I see confirmed 4 to the NFL

Just had the presser for the official announcement

CyKo gone, Haha gone, Pagan gone, Hubbard gone

ETA: DeAndrew White either hasn't decided (has to decide by the 15th) or is staying but no word at the announcement

wow..white would be a huge surprise but we are loaded there and had a few that took a RS. Cyrus may need to quit at CB and head back to WR

Cyrus will likely stay at CB I think with or without D White leaving

We are stacked at WR and added 2 more this cycle

He is tall enough, IMO. Most CBs are about his size.

He will see the field.

won't see the field much as his PT went down last few games. He is around 5 10 and NS likes around 6 feet. I could see him being an attrition candidate too

Saban has played plenty of guys under 6'0", and Jones has no chance of being an attrition candidate, like, at all.

the ideal is 6 feet with NS. Look at the really good ones he recruited. Cyrus has may be in the mix but with some of the 5 stars coming and growth of Jackson I can see his minutes being curtailed

This yr was a developmental yr for Cyrus. Always struggles with guys developing and learning the position and the calls

I think some people will actually be surprised with how good CBs look next yr a lot of new faces at the position this past yr all at once
