Just out of curiosity, I took a look to see what Kiffin's offense at Tennessee did in 2009 compared to Fulmer's last year in 2008, specifically Jonathan Crompton. Crompton shared time at QB in 2008 with Nick Stephens, but beat Stephens out when Kiffin came in. Here's what I found:

Crompton:

2008: 86/167, 51.5%, 889 yds, 5.3 yds/att, 4 TD/5 INT, 98.1 rating.
2009: 224/384, 58.3%, 2800 yds, 7.3 yds/att, 27 TD/13 INT, 136.0 rating.

Total team yards:

2008: 3225
2009: 4985

Rushing:
2008: 1475 yards, led by Arian Foster's 570
2009: 2043 yards, led by Montario Hardesty's 1345

I'm warming up to the idea. With the adult supervision he'll have in Tuscaloosa, he may do just fine.

I guess that proves Kiffin is better than Fulmer.

Honestly, the most impressive thing Kiffin has done was making Jonathan Crompton look like a halfway decent QB. That guy was absolutely awful before Kiffin got there.

If there is no hoopla bullshite created by him, then he will do great things in Ttown.

I'm not saying Kiffin is there answer, but.....

Mid-2009, Kiffin had UT playing at a pretty high level. They did more than just play us close. They put it to UGA and beat USCe as well.
