So, can Stoops take some credit for FSU winning the title and use it for recruiting purposes at UK?

I'm sure he'll pimp that out to the recruits but it's not going to help him too much.

The guys that go drafted on the defensive side of the ball that he recruited and worked with for multiple years will probably provide more recruiting ammo then the championship itself. So I tend to agree. It is something nice to have on the resume in a tight recruiting race though.

I think it might have a slight positive effect. Stoops is obviously a good salesman and I can see him subtlety spinning this in his favor.
