I haven't seen that critical play of tonight's game and wanted some honest opinions.

Yes to the PI.

The horse collar definitely should have been called too

Yeah...officials wee pretty awful. Blatant holding all game by both sides, that 15 yard taunting penalty that almost cost FSU the game was weak, Auburn didn't get a horse collar against them on that last drive.

Yes. Even if it were borderline, it was retribution for the no-call on the horse-collar on that drive that would have put them first-and-ten inside the Auburn 10 yard line. And then there was the blatant facemask on Winston. Then the ball-spiking by Mason after Auburn's final TD. There were others. The reffing was in Auburn's favor all night.

Yep. And the left hand had the face mask. Both calls missed.

And he PI in the end zone was a good call. The defnder wrapped his left arm aroung the WRs waist as he reached to knock the ball away.

There was no doubt; he was all over the receivers back. And yea, the refs missed that horse-collar tackle and possible face-mask.

I wondered if anyone else thought Mason should've gotten 15 for spiking the ball. He then did the Heisman pose right in front of a ref, but he was sort of on the sideline, but only at the 5. SEC definitely paid those frickers.

If it had been Georgia, they would have called it in a New York second.

OH yeah the horsecollar and spike were bad calls too. I don't have a problem with the spike personally but you can't not call it after calling whatever they called on FSU

Yes. It was textbook pass interference. Auburn had a bunch of big calls and no calls go their way.
1) the bs unsportsmanlike on the TD
2) Mason spiking the ball and no call
3) facemask on Jameis right in front of the ref that wasn't called
4) horse collar on the last drive

At that point it wouldn't have surprised me if they hadn't called pass interference

Many blatant holds. One was on 3rd and 14 half way thru the 1st qtr. OLB floored the RT and was pulled down. No call. There were many more...

frick Auburn. They survived on garbage this year. Hell, they were holding us on their "miracle" play this year.

Anyone think on that INT that the Florida St safety should have been called for targeting? Couldn't see a good angle but it looked like helmet to helmet contact. I mean if Ray Drew's was targeting then that should have been looked at for sure.

This does not automatically define "targeting". Helmet-to-helmet hits happen quite frequently and are perfectly legal.

But yes, your point is valid given what was called against Georgia this year. Doesn't make them the "right" calls, though.

Lots of holding calls missed. Like blatant holding.
