Which channel are you watching live and which one(s) will you DVR?

quote:

ESPN will carry the traditional game broadcast with Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit.

ESPN2 will broadcast "BCS Title Talk" broadcast with the game, analysts, guest hosts, coaches and celebrities. This one may be the most megacasty of all — it’ll feature ESPN’s newest hire, Tim Tebow, along with Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, USC coach Steve Sarkisian, Vanderbilt coach James Franklin, actor-rapper Snoop Dogg and singer-songwriter John Legend. (Courtesy ESPN)

ESPNews will show "BCS Film Room," in-depth, play-by-play coverage with camera angles that are not in the main broadcast.

ESPN Classic will show the game broadcast -- minus the announcers -- with mics picking up sideline and public-address sounds.

ESPN Goal Line will have the "BCS Command Center" with split-screen views of live action and immediate replays of every play along with the ESPN Radio broadcast and stats.

ESPN3 online will show Auburn- and Florida State-centric feeds as well as a "BCS Campus Connection" showing live reaction on campus and a "BCS SpiderCam" option to watch from the over-the-field camera.

I'm watching ESPN Classic live. I've wanted them to do this for so long. I'd pay $40 for a pay per view option where certain players and coaches are mic'd up and you can get rid of the announcers.

I'm probably recording ESPNNews. Love the film breakdown segments so that should be an interesting watch.

All of that makes me want to throw up. SO much fricking stimulus. The simple thought of it all for a 4 hour broadcast boggles the mind.

ETA: I'm at work until 9:30 so I'll be watching on ESPN3 sans sound.

Love the idea of the ESPN Classic broadcast with sideline mics. HDNet (Is that still a channel?) used to have NHL games on it, and for about half a period they would turn off the broadcast mikes, turn up the mikes on the boards and you'd actually feel like you were at the game. It was fantastic. I'd love to see this happen more often for big events.

He just wants to save you. And eat your soul. But ultimately save you.

If my ESPN classic was in HD, that would be my choice.

Looks like regular ESPN for me.

Will probably try this

I thought Tirico and Blackledge were gonna be piped in from ESPNRadio for this one? Regardless I would watch on this channel if I got it

ESPN Classic

While watching an Arkansas Alabama game one year the announcer feed cut out. It was just stadium sounds, the PA announcer, and the sound of pads popping.

It was heaven for several minutes.
