If they don't mind hiring again in 3 years, sure.

It would be great timing for Petrino with Louisville moving to the ACC.

I'm actually not really familiar with the events of his leaving Louisville. He was in the very reasonable situation of accepting an NFL HC job, so surely he didn't leave under conditions nearly as bad as Falcons to Arkansas and Arkansas to unemployment, right?

He lied about meeting with Auburn boosters when Tommy T was still the HC at Aubbie, then he told Louisville he wasn't leaving and signed a new deal only to bolt for the nfl a few days later.

So yeah, he scorches earth everywhere he goes, but he does win. Beat the grass eating tigers half of the time...

I can't believe his name hasn't even come up... The guy wins with nothing. He could wreck shop for someone.

As long as they don't care about defense, sure. He could win big in the ACC, except against FSU.

I don't think Jurich will hire him back because he burned some serious bridges here. And Jurich is one of those ADs with a HUGE ego.

Now if multiple coaches turn them down I could see it. But not until then.
