Quote from Dee Ford during the BCS national championship media days. He is the best DL coach in the country. Thanks for Garner, dawgs. He's been a very important piece to our run for a title.

Our DL play has been better this year and our recruiting has been too? So win win for both teams

Yeah, I think he just got burned out and probably didn't get along with TG too well. That is just a guess on my part. He probably needed to leave to revive himself.

One of the best recruiters in the Southeast. Not the best anymore, though he was for several years, but still very good.

Yep. Worked out well for all involved. UGAs DL was the lone bright spot on defense.

I'd so there is no such thing as a win win when a coach leaves but look no further than Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs to see that sometimes there is,.

He was just bleeding UGA for cash once he realized we were never going to promote him to DC. Glad it worked out for everyone involved.
