Have an evaluation scheduled for this afternoon--hoping to get out of the soft cast and into a boot if things look good. No more pain, just ready to get off the damn crutches (and I'm sure Mrs. T is ready for me to quit stumping around the house with those things too 
)

Oh, you know, literally tried to kickstart one of those things. Turns out it didn't work
Nah, the doc called it a chronic sprain and the surgery was pre-emptive so I wouldn't make it worse. Tightened some ligaments and hopefully that'll take care of it

Good news is I got the cast off and stitches out today! I can start weaning myself off the crutches now with a walking boot
Doc's talking about I might not be able to run very much in the future but imma do everything in my power to ensure it ain't going down like that!

Oh man. I HATE the "boot". Those soft casts are aggravating.
