Isn't it time to level the playing field for those in Mississippi?

In an effort to make Ole Miss, MSU and USM more competitive shouldn't we should consider consolidating the 3 into one large university... Considering the economic state of the state wouldn't it be more fiscally feasible? Wouldn't it boost the academic standing ??? Feel free to chime in with your "educated" opinion...

My friend who went to MSU told me that because of Auburn's turn around, it gives him faith that MSU can turn it around in one season too and be a NC contender under Mullen
so there's that
so there's that

You could do the same for Louisiana...sort of.
Consolidate a few of the directional schools, tech, and Tulane. That way LSU could have a major instate rival.

If there was only one SEC school in Mississippi they would probably be really good. Lots of talent in that there state.

not as far fetched as it sounds though, but still worthy

Or we could just buy players like your bagman does. The three schools focus on separate areas of education. Well Ole Miss and MSU does.... USM is pretty irrelevant. Kind of like UAB.
Don't get ahead of yourself, Alabama isn't a golden gem of a state either when it comes to "education."

Governor Theodore Bilbo tried this back in the 1920's, it was voted down.

Sooo... you're bringing a bunch of MSU talent to compete with good teams. Good luck with that.
