Who has played both and which one do you prefer?

Sounds like Live14 knows they left a lot to be desired. In this link, the Executive Producer promises to fix a lot of stuff. I think he may be promising a little more than he can deliver, mid-year like this.

They have changed up some of the controls, which baffles me why different games insist on doing this just for the hell of it each year. Some of the flaws that were common in 12 and 13 are still there and very frustrating but because Live14 turned out to be worse, it is still the better game.

You shouldn't even have to ask this question. It's 2K and 99.9% of people in this world agree.. the only .1% that doesn't agree are the people that produced NBA Live.

i played live until they stopped producing the game then i switched to 2k. i dont plan on going back once live finally gets a new game out

Same here. Haven't bought the last two 2ks, though.
2k is the better game, but I really liked Live so hopefully they get their shite together.

The reviews for Live were terrible. That's why the producer released the article I linked above.
As I have already said, 2K is the better game, not sure why this keeps getting rehashed.
