Question for louissiana natives

I am driving to Atlanta and will stop at N.O. on the way. What are the good restaurants there and is there a good place to watch saints game(I am a fan of them and the panthers) while having two kids with me. I need to know so I can book a hotel near the area.

Should take I-12 at Baton Rouge and bypass New Orleans unless that is one of your must-do items. Parrain's in Baton Rouge is just off I-10 with easy access and great food OR stop by Abita's brew pub in Abita Springs. Safe trip.
