Lexington didn't look SEC at all.

It was also a lot bigger than I imagined it being. Their DT is on par with Dayton.

I was so ready to get out I drove thru the hood that surrounds your Big Ten town and got back on 75 South.

Your Spartans were more represented than Michigan was from what I recognized. Kinda crazy seeing how close Fenton is to Ann Arbor... but I suppose they're both relatively close to where I was.

So, we stopped at the Thorton on Winchester Rd to get gas and your lunchables? Yea, that is a true representation of Lexington.

Anyway, thanks for supporting our economy during your stop.

It probably is, but from the eye test they're very similar in size. I noticed that Lexington is planning on building a large tower in an open lot downtown.

did not know that, but I'm from AA . Fenton is straight up US23 by 45 min. E. Lansing isn't that far, either (about an hour or so west)

Driving thru downtown to get gasoline isn't exactly supporting your local economy. I was only interested in seeing your campus.

Lexington is a gorgeous city.
The beautiful rolling hills with white painted fences.
It's one of my favorite cities in the South.

I'll have to revisit when the grass is greener. Being cold and dreary like it was yesterday it probably dampens the aura of the city.
